"The goal of The Brickhouse Inn, ‘to make you feel as if you’re one of the family, and that every aspect of your stay is comfortable’ was exceedingly achieved... Every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. I hadn’t stayed at a B&B before and this visit made a believer out of me. If I ever pass this way again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. By the way- the breakfast was very good!”

“It was our good fortune to be driving down the street, looking over the over, when we saw The Brickhouse Inn. We’d come down for a ‘wolf howling’ and needed a place to stay. We enjoyed this spot so much- what a beautiful, serene spot. Good luck at the Howling too- saw 18 bears AND heard the wolves! The Inn was the icing on the cake for our little getaway trip!
–BJ & Jean: Pittsboro, NC (7.29.10)
“We had a nice dinner at the Columbia Restaurant and visited the Tavern. The folks over there told us about the Brickhouse Inn. We are on our way to Corolla for a family vacation and needed a place to stay for one night. This was perfect. My husband John and I love adventures. Our children Nicolette (17) and Jack (14) loved it too. Thank you for being so trusting and friendly- letting us make ourselves at home. I walked this morning and saw the high school and went the other way through the Historic town and to the river. It’s a wonderful memory for our little family. Thanks again.”
–The Washington’s (7.25.10)

“Thanks so much for your wonderful hospitality here at the Inn. It’s so wonderful to find a place where people are trusted to let themselves in and out at their leisure. Thank you also for the peace and quiet we find here. We always leave reluctantly to return to the business of our daily lives. We enjoyed our visit and will return again as our schedules allow.”
– The Meacham’s: Chapel Hill, NC
“This B&B is so lovely. We have really enjoyed out stay here very much. This is our first time in a B&B and for it to be in Columbia, my home town, was even better. We have all felt as though we had come home to Mama’s. Was wonderful meeting you and maybe one day we will be back. You’ll be the first one I call for a bed! Thanks so much for making us all feel so much at home.”

“The five days I have been privileged to
be here in Columbia and stay at the Brickhouse Inn have certainly been a little piece of heaven here on earth. Beginning with the beauty of this home, the comfort of all these great accommodations and especially the scrumptious breakfast served by Debbie, all I can say is WOW! I could never have believed such a blessing existed. This is my first bed & breakfast experience – it will not be my last. I am thankful to the owners of the Inn and the people of Mt. Hermon UMC for providing such a great place for their evangelist to rest, refresh, and prepare for the five nights of their revival. I thank God for Debbie, this great place and a time of renewal and refreshment. I will be back again; I want to treat my wife to this same blessing!”
– Rev. Neal Salter “A 12 on the 1 to 10 scale! This B&B is very special and the town
of Columbia is extra special. With your encouragement we made the decision to stay here, a decision we will never regret. Thank you so much.”
